Established in 2008, Christine began Dreamy Interiors with a simple mission to help others enjoy their homes one room at a time. Dreamy interiors is dedicated to creating spaces and designs that fit clients wants and needs. Our attention to detail and positive relationships with various networks and professionals ensures that your design is special and unique. The most important element of working with Dreamy Interiors is working together to make sure your design dreams come true. Our collaborative approach ensures a smooth process from start to finish. Christine offers a variety of services in order to fully support your design dream; Dreamy Interiors is there during the planning, budgeting, scheduling, delivering, and assembling stages. We provide the tools and knowledge necessary for nearly any interiors design project. We will work to coordinate and select wall colors, fabrics, room layout, drapery, cabinetry, lighting and much more. Our unique approach allows you to be as much or as little involved, as you want. Dreamy Interiors understands and believes that your house is more than just four walls and a roof; it is a place for friends and family that becomes an extension of who you are. About Christine…
After graduating Suffolk Community college in 1999 with a BS/Interior Design, Christine's family sold their home of 20+ years and moved to beautiful Shelter Island to build her father's 4,200 sq ft dream home. From that point on the whole construction and design process and the thought of creating something wonderful became a lifelong passion. Following that passion in 2001, Christine started working for Island Shelters Inc., an interior design company on Shelter Island. Being exposed to working with contractors, clients, fabrics, wallpaper, estimates and installations gave Christine the experience and confidence needed to break into the interior design field. Family is very important to Christine and with the birth of her first son in 2007 she decided to work part-time. This allowed her in 2009 to start her own interior design business, Dreamy Interiors LLC. For the past 12 years she has been working on many interior projects including custom window treatments, slipcovers and reupholstery, kitchen and bath renovations, drafting blueprints for new construction and much, much more. Christine's work is about much more than simply redoing a house; it's about creating a space that is comfortable and unique for each client. Christine is ready and eager to make your design dreams come true.
